RSS use seeing exponential growth

RSS (real simple syndication), still not understand by most folks, is seeing huge growth.

TechCrunch is reporting on the recently released Feedburner statistics that show the growth of Feedburner subscribers and managed feeds over the last 18 months. Both show clearly exponential trends – the number of feed subscribers appears to be doubling about every two months (or even faster in some cases)! The number of managed feeds has increased by more than an order of magnitude over the past year.

This is great news for law firms and other businesses who are streaming their content out on RSS feeds. Not only is the content being subscribed to by more people via RSS feeds (especially to the influencers like other bloggers & the media) but the content is also being picked up by the large blog feed aggregators like Google blog search.

Everyday a business waits to get on the RSS bandwagon just puts them another mile behind the times. They’ll be lapped by their competitors before they know it.
