MSN launches blog service

MSN launched its own blog service, MSN spaces , in beta form tonight. It’s a free service that as MSN says “Allows people to share information and photos with their friends and family.”

Microsoft’s entry into the consumer blog space moves us closer to the day when blogs will be used as often as email and Web sites.

MSN spaces is not a credible option for lawyers looking to blog as a way to market their legal services. The blog sites are set up to share personal information and do not have the necessary features of a good blog, including archiving content by categories and unique domain names. Look at a few of the blogs just launched like The Engineer’s Tablet or Kunal’s Blog to see what I mean.
