lexBlog launches Davis Wright Tremaine’s Telecom Law Blog
lexBlog is thrilled to announce the launch of the Communications Law Blog published by Davis Wright Tremaine.
Davis Wright Tremaine is a full service law firm with over 400 lawyers representing a wide array clients with all aspects of their legal needs across the country and internationally. It is an honor to serve a firm of the stature of DWT and put them on the map with the likes of Microsoft and Sun Microsystems as a leader in the use of professional communications blogs.
DWT communications lawyers are distinguished by the scope and diversity of their experience, whether gained at the FCC, as in-house counsel to leading telecommunications companies, or by representing clients in ground-breaking initiatives. To demonstrate their expertise and as a service to existing clients, DWT produces and distributes by email the FCC Daily highlighting important FCC activity on telecommunications issues and related industry developments.
DWT’s marketing professionals wanted to extend the reach of the content being distributed by the FCC Daily. DWT wanted in-house counsel and corporate executives, now regularly using search engines during the lawyer selection process, to retrieve content from the FCC Daily when performing an Internet search. In addition, DWT wanted to stream the FCC Daily via RSS (real simple syndication) to the increasing number of readers using RSS feeds to receive their news and to Web based news aggregators where the FCC Daily content could be searched and retrieved.
lexBlog designed a custom blog template incorporating the DWT brand, hosts the blog and provides ongoing tech & marketing support for the blog. DWT’s FCC Daily will now be streamed via RSS to readers using news aggregators on their desk tops as well as Web based aggregators. The blog content is set forth so that the FCC Daily is now indexed and optimized for Google and other search engines.
lexBlog will be working with DWT to expand the information provided in the Communications Law Blog to include additional news and legal updates direct from the desktops of DWT’s communications lawyers.
