LexBlog launches Complementary and Alternative Health Law Blog published by Michael Cohen

August 28, 2004

lexBlog is excited to announce the launch today of Michael Cohen’s Complementary and Alternative Medicine Law Blog.

Michael is a widely recognized author, speaker and practicing lawyer in the area of complementary and alternative medicine. He represents health care professionals and the health care industry on a broad array of issues ranging from credentialing, licensure, scope of practice, and quality assurance to health insurance/group plan matters.

Of special note, Michael became the first attorney to receive a full-time faculty appointment in Harvard Medical School history. As Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Michael serves as Director of Legal Programs at the Harvard Medical School Division for Research and Education in Complementary and Integrative Medical Therapies and Harvard Medical School Osher Institute.

Michael wanted to take his Internet presence to the next level, to easily publish materials to the net, market his legal services in a professional manner and have a platform to easily collaborate with others in the complementary and alternative medicine field.

lexBlog was honored to develop a blog plan to help bring Michael’s vision to fruition. By beginning with a custom design site, lexBlog will coach Michael on how and what to blog and market his presence online so as to further enhance his reputation in the field.

Because of the depth of the content Michael is publishing on his blog, lexBlog will make certain that the content is widely disseminated via RSS and email updates as well make certain the content is well indexed on Google and other search engines for those performing a search for complementary and alternative medicine information.
