I’ve mentioned many times before how I’m very proud of all the large law firms we work with here at LexBlog. And that remains the case, those are fun—but it’s also great to see individual lawyers build up, or capitalize, on their brand using their own blog. We see two such this week.

  • First up, we’re excited to see Winstead‘s Talmage Boston launch his blog on our network this week. The Dallas-based commercial trial and appellate litigator is known for many things—an attorney, historian, keynote speaker and public interview—and he’ll bring a blend of each to what already looks like a great publication.
  • The financial world is one that’s constantly in flux, with regulation and legislation seemingly coming almost daily. As such, litigation around it is always changing as well. So, Reed Smith‘s Financial Services Litigation Report should prove to be an invaluable resource. This is the firm’s 22nd publication on the LexBlog Network.
  • Where one firm launches its 22nd blog with us, another launches just their first—and it’s equally exciting, as Chicago’s Marshall, Gerstein & Borun rolls out PTABWatch. For those who don’t know, PTAB is the USPTO’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board, which formed in 2012 as part of the America Invents Act. Look for this to join a burgeoning community of publications discussing the board’s activities.
  • And last, definitely not least, we have Justice Never Quits from Eric Welch Guster, who you may recognize from, well, TV. Guster appears weekly on Fox News, CNN and MSNBC providing legal insight on a number of mainstream cases. Look for him to bring that insight here.
