Well we’re off and rolling this week. I mean, we’re also about to shut down for the week—but before we do so, and actually over the week, we added four new blogs to the LexBlog Network. Not too bad. Let’s take a look.

  • First up, we have a blog that actually looks a lot like this one—so naturally we think it looks good. It’s Winning on Facts from Smith & Carson. This looks to be a very interesting one, as Smith & Carson a national intelligence and research firm, so look for this publication to provide an interesting perspective on improving the never-ending search for facts in litigation.
  • Next up, we see the continued growth of Sheppard Mullin‘s already-massive blog network, as it swells to 32 with the launch of False Claims Act Defense. This has become a very popular subject of commentary among large law firms, so this will be an interesting one, as Sheppard Mullin offers up an examination of issues, developments and trends that affect companies in defending against False Claims Act investigations and litigation, including trial.
  • Speaking of areas where we’re seeing a lot of commentary—or maybe more accurately, where we should—it’s the FinTech Update from Reed Smith. With the continued advancement of point-of-purchase technology, including mobile payment—and the privacy and security issues throughout—it’s a very interesting arena to watch right now.
  • I say it’s always great when a firm adds it’s first LexBlog Network blog, but it’s true for the second too—because that makes a network. Well, Hahn Loeser now officially has a blog network as the launch of The Class-Action & Compliance Sentinel. In their own words, the blog aims to be “a resource for keeping abreast of significant legal developments, regulatory changes, and judicial decisions regarding real estate class actions and compliance.”
