Insurance, Capital Markets and Book Reviews: New Blogs Joining the LexBlog Network

September 11, 2015

One of the things I enjoy the very most about the LexBlog Network and its continued growth is the diverse number of subjects covered. I mean, look at those three subjects lined up there in the title, where else would you see that? Now, let’s take a look at who they are.

  • I say this every time they launch a new blog—and they’re now at five—but it’s always an absolute pleasure working with a firm right here in Seattle, as is the case with Miller Nash Graham & Dunn. This week they roll out The Northwest Policyholder, a blog focused on insurance coverage issues in the Pacific Northwest.
  • There’s blog network growth abound for these large law firms, as the debut of Down the Wire from Squire Patton Boggs makes it their 15th on the LexBlog Network. This publication aims to be a “platform for sharing news, insights and analysis on issues affecting publicly traded companies, as well as their board members, shareholders, financial advisers and brokers.”
  • This last (but not least!) one may be my favorite, and it’s from ERISA lawyer Patty Shlonski of Ulmer & Berne. She really describes her blog—From Briefs to Books—so well, and so simply: “this blog is about an ERISA lawyer’s love and contemplation of books, especially fiction. I will write about what I am reading and what I think about what I am reading.”
