Employment & Business Litigation, IP, Consumer Financial Services: New Blogs Joining the LexBlog Network
June 26, 2015
Whew—I think it’s fair to say we might be experiencing a bit of a heatwave out here in Seattle. Thankfully, that means it’s only 80. But before heading out into a hot and beautiful weekend, let’s celebrate the new publications joining our ranks.
- It’s never not exciting when a law firm gets started with its very first blog on our network, and that’s the case as we launch the Massachusetts Employment & Business Litigation Resource from Boston law firm Conn Kavanaugh. The sharp, responsive-designed publication has already chimed in on some hot button employment law issues, in marijuana, noncompetes and paid sick leave.
- In looking at their work on other blogs, the lawyers at Mayer Brown have some of the most analytical minds I’ve seen, and I’m very interested to see what they do now in bringing that insight to intellectual property—with the launch of All About IP. Also, it should be noted, this is an interesting one, as it will focus on IP in Germany and Europe with attorneys Konstantin von Werder and Dr. Ulrich Worm leading the way.
- And finally, we get to the Consumer Financial Services Brief from the team at BakerHostetler, as their grow their array of LexBlog Network publications to the grand total of 15. Consumer finance is a big, big area of conversation in the law right now—especially here on the LexBlog Network—and I look forward to seeing how this deep team of lawyers tackles the subject.
