Hydraulic Fracturing and Commercial Litigation: New Blogs Joining the LexBlog Network

June 19, 2015

Just about every week I say “well we got some good ones this week” and it is true every week—but I’ll admit I might be a tad more excited than normal this week. In our look back, it’s a pair of publications that should really be superb. Let me tell you why.

  • LexBlog has worked with Norton Rose Fulbright since 2012 but over the past year that partnership has ramped up as we’ve watched them now add ten publications to the LexBlog Network since the beginning of 2014—and over that time you’d have a tough time finding a better blog network from an Am Law 200 firm. Now, after a long transition, we’re happy to say we partner with them on all their blogs as the Hydraulic Fracking Blog joins our ranks. Going off the others, expect this to be a good one.
  • While I can appreciate a good blog network from one of the world’s top firms, there’s nothing quite like a premier lawyer launching a blog that you know will be like his or her own expert column—and that’s what we have with The Contingency from Barry Barnett. A Partner at Susman Godfrey, he wrote wrote a site called The Blawgletter for years, and now we’re thrilled to have his expertise on commercial litigation on the LexBlog Network. Barnett, for those who don’t know, is as high-powered a commercial trial lawyer as you’re going to find, having briefed and argued appeals in cases that  went before the Third, Fifth, and Tenth Circuits, the Supreme Court of Louisiana, and (in the case of Comcast Corp. v. Behrend) even the Supreme Court of the United States.
