Community Development, the Food Industry and Financial Regulation: New Blogs Joining the LexBlog Network

May 29, 2015

I don’t know if this is the first time this has happened, as it might be, but if it isn’t it’s still cool: all of the blogs launching on the LexBlog Network are responsive. Take a look at these—all very sharp.

  • We’re excited to continue to help fuel the growth of Greenberg Traurig‘s blog network, as it keeps on rolling with the debut of Financial Regulatory & Compliance News. I’m not sure financial regulation has ever been a more active sector, so this will be a valuable resource as the lawyers there write on the latest happenings with the CFPB, FINRA, the SEC and a lot more.
  • It’s always great when lawyers work with us across firms—especially when they strike out on their own and come back to us again. That’s what we have with Shawn Stevens and FoodIndustry Counsel. FoodIndustry Counsel prides itself on being the only law firm in the world that represents only food industry clients—and they’ll use this blog to write on recall management, USDA and FDA compliance, brand protection and food safety litigation.
  • Community development is an interesting area right now, and I’m excited to see how the lawyers at Jones Walker tackle the subject with their latest blog, Building Our Block. This publication—which will cover topics like zoning, housing and lending—is the firm’s third on the LexBlog Network, all of them having been launched in the past year.
