Media & Privacy and Sexual Assault : New Blogs Joining the LexBlog Network

Before closing up shop for the week and heading out into a weekend filled with college hoops, it’s time to look at the new publications joining our ranks. We have two this week, one from one of the many Am Law 200 firms we work with, and another offering a unique and powerful perspective.

  • The first blog, the one I refer to second in the preceding sentence, is Victims Voices, a resource on sexual assault from Laurie Dishman. When traveling on a Royal Caribbean cruise in 2006, she herself was sexually assaulted and has vowed to speak out as an advocate so no one would have to go through what she did. That includes testifying before Congress, speaking to various groups across the country—and now this blog.
  • Next up, we’re excited to have Am Law 200 firm Vedder Price officially join the LexBlog Network, launching their first blog in the form of the Media & Privacy Risk Report. This one, with editors Blaine Kimrey and Bryan Clark, aims to offer insight, commentary and even a bit of humor on media, privacy and the law.
