Consumer Products, Privacy, Patents and More: New Blogs Joining the LexBlog Network

February 6, 2015

It’s been another busy week at LexBlog, which is part of the reason this is coming just a touch delayed—and also part of the reason we have four new blogs joining our ranks. There’s a good mix here, including a few really sharp responsive designs.

  • Batting leadoff in our look at those joining the LexBlog Network this week, we’re excited to have Beem on Patents join the fray, which is published by Richard Beem of Beem Patent Law. Already big on social media—and a prolific tweeter—he looks to be taking quite well to blogging, covering subjects that include patent infringement, claim construction, litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Consumer products law seems to be quite the growing subject on the LexBlog Network over the past year or so, and that continues with the launch of Consumer Protection Connection from Keller and Heckman LLP. This, their second blog, is sporting a nice responsive design. Washington, DC lawyer Sheila Millar serves as editor on the publication.
  • Speaking of big subject’s on the LexBlog Network, the extremely active privacy community on LXBN adds another with the debut of Privacy and Data Security Insight from Taft, this being their fifth blog on the LexBlog Network. Off to a good start, they’re covering some big data breaches in Anthem and Jimmy John’s, including big regulatory stuff out of the FTC and various issues involving children’s online privacy.
  • Interesting parallels here: we have another firm launching its second blog on the LexBlog Network, making the second blog responsive and forging into consumer products—it’s the Product Liability and Mass Torts Blog from Schiff Hardin. In their own words, they plan to cover “major decisions, regulations, and medical and scientific studies that may impact your business.”
