Global Restructuring and American Trade: New Blogs Joining the LexBlog Network
November 7, 2014
We close out the week here at LexBlog HQ as we always do, with a look at the new publications joining our network. And as it seems to be the case every week, we have new blogs from a couple heavyweights in the legal world. This week, it’s new blogs from Wiley Rein and Squire Patton Boggs—both members of the AmLaw 200.
- Squire Patton Boggs has been one of the best firms on the LexBlog Network at taking an area of law and applying a global perspective, as they’ve done with their long-running Employment Law Worldview. That approach—and, I anticipate, success—continues with the debut of their latest blog, eSQUIRE Global Crossings. Where that blog, of course, tackled employment, eSQUIRE will offer unique perspective on insolvency and restructuring matters from a variety of nations.
- As the United States has seen quite an enormous boom as of late in its manufacturing sector, we’ve seen law blogs in the area rising right along with it. The latest comes in the form of the American Trade & Manufacturing Blog from the team at Wiley Rein. Like SPB, Wiley’s been great with their blogs in other areas—with their media blog definitely being a standout—so it’d be more than fair to expect this one to be adept in covering customs law, sanctions, trade policy, export controls and other relevant subjects.
