Employment, Government Contracts, Latin America, Lending and MedTech: New Blogs Joining the LexBlog Network

October 17, 2014

As we head out into the weekend, we have quite a few publications to announce here—actually, five in total. As you can tell by all the subjects in the headline, we’re all over the place here.  Let’s get into it.

  • Proskauer‘s Law and the Workplace is a very interesting project with a unique look to go along with it. The blog covering anything and everything associated with labor and employment law, drawing not only on original content here—but it also aggregates content from the firm’s other blogs and is responsive.
  • Bass Berry Simms rolled out their second blog on the LexBlog Network this week with the launch of Bass Berry Simms Government Contracts. Whether working with federal, state or local government, there are always a number of regulations to deal, and they are almost constantly changing—so the authors on this blog aim to readers abreast of all the latest developments.
  • Technology has long been a part of health care, but it seems its impact on the area is expanding at an increasingly exponential rate. As such, the laws and regulations around the area are becoming increasingly more strict, so we’re seeing more blogs in this area—and that includes Pharma MedTech Insights from EpsteinBeckerGreen. Launched this week, it’s the firm’s fourteenth blog on the LexBlog Network.
  • Foley & Lardner continues to be large law firm that’s very adept at blogging as they are constantly looking ahead to news and trends impacting the areas they’re covering. It’s going to be interesting to watch them do the same with Latin America Legal Insights, where they aim to keep international and United States businesses apprised of developments impacting commerce in the Americas.
  • And lastly, this isn’t quite a new blog, but it’s a good one that is returning—it’s Lenders 360 from Keith Mullen and Jason Rodriguez at Higier Allen & Lautin in Texas. In their own words, the blog ‘is designed to help companies stay current on business and legal issues, covering every business cycle, including the ‘good times’ and ‘bad times’ – together with comments on the impact of technology.
