Wine, Defamation, Class Action and Estates Law: New Blogs Joining the LexBlog Network

April 18, 2014

It was a great week for launches on the LexBlog Network as we had four new publications go live. And, really, look at that title—there’s something for everyone in this week’s batch.

  • Beer and wine blogs have become surprisingly popular on the LexBlog Network and that trend continues with the launch of Lawful Libations from Long Island law firm Farrell Fritz. This, their ninth blog,  will provide readers with legal updates and commentary for vineyards, breweries, distilleries and farmers.
  • Given the amount of news stories I see on this on a daily basis, including the one we covered today with the help of this blogs author, I’m surprised we haven’t seen a LexBlog Network blog like Internet Defamation Removal Attorneys before. This one, from AmLaw 200 firm Vorys and attorney Whitney Gibson, is off to an excellent start as its covered some fascinating internet defamation lawsuits and issues.
  • LXBN’s class action law community isn’t its biggest—but it’s close. It grows by one more with the debut of Taft‘s Class Action Law Insight. It’ll be interesting to see what level of balance they bring as, unlike many of the firms in our community, Taft actually both defends and prosecutes class actions. Michael J. Zbiegien, Jr., a partner in the firm’s Cleveland office, is the publication’s lead attorney.
  • Last, but no, never least—we have the Stites on Estates Blog from, of course, Stites & Harbison. The blog is published by David PorterCarter Ruml, and Richard Wehrle of the firm’s Trusts & Estates Service Group. The blog covers a wide range of topics, including asset protection, business planning, estate planning, insurance and retirement planning.
