Privacy Law and the E-Rate Program: New Blogs Joining the LexBlog Network

March 14, 2014

As we wind down the week on a Friday that makes me think spring may already be here in Seattle, let’s take a look at the the new blogs that launched on the LexBlog Network this week—both of which are from a couple of the top law firms in the country.

  • To kick things off, we have the E-Rate Advisor from the team at Davis Wright Tremaine. You want to talk about a niche—this blog focuses in on the government’s Schools and Libraries Program, more commonly called the E-rate program, which gives out funding to schools and libraries so they can purchase communications services such as broadband Internet access service. This publication will offer guidance to those companies who provide supplies and services under the program.
  • The growth of the LexBlog Network’s thriving privacy and data security community continues with the debut of The Global Privacy Watch from Seyfarth Shaw. The firm has long had some of the network’s best labor law blogs, so it’ll be interesting to see them publish in this space—especially considering the frequent overlap between the two areas.
