Chicago Condo Law and Taxes: New blogs joining the LexBlog Network.

October 25, 2013

Joining the LexBlog Network this week are publications covering two areas of law that are incredibly important in this economy, but not covered enough—condo law and tax law. Each publication is from a firm that’s already launched blogs on our network and is continuing to grow their own. Drop in and take a look, as each are off a very strong start.

  • In major cities across the country, the housing market is changing rapidly. Fewer and fewer people are opting to buy a house in the suburbs as more people chose to stay closer to the city and renting—or purchasing condos. Joining the LexBlog Network to offer legal commentary on the latter option here is Tressler‘s Chicago Condo Law Blog. Their attorneys will offer insight relevant to associations, management companies, and interested members of the public.
  • For the second time in a little more than a month, we have a new publication joining the LexBlog Network from Garvey Schubert Barer—the most recent being Larry’s Tax Law. The Larry in Larry’s Tax Law is Portland lawyer Larry Brant; he’s the past Chair of the Oregon State Bar Taxation Section and is the long-time Chair of the Oregon Tax Institute. I know taxes, at first impression, don’t seem like the most exciting area of law—but Larry writes in matter that should make the topic engaging and understandable for his audience.
