New blogs joining the LexBlog Network for the week of 6/11-6/15

June 15, 2012

As we head into the weekend, it’s time to once again look at the publications joining the LexBlog Network this week. We have LXBN’s very fist publication from summer associates and a cool curation project from the State Bar of Texas. Have a great weekend, everyone.

  • Bilzin Sumberg debuted their second LexBlog Network publication this week in the form of their Summer Associates Blog. Six summer associates at the firm—David De La Flor, Veronica Gordon, Michael LeVine, Kyle Morabito, Amy Podolsky and Shalia Sakona—use this publication as an almost personal professional blog (sounds contradictory, promise it’s not), as they document their summer working with the attorneys at the Miami, Florida firm.
  • Media Law Bytes & Pieces is the ninth publication on LXBN from Baker Hostetler, adding to an already stellar network of blogs. Offering commentary on the law of media, content and entertainment—quite topical right now—the blog is authored by a number of attorneys, with Oren Warshavsky serving as Editor.
  • Texas Bar Today is one of the more interesting projects we have ever worked on at LexBlog. Drawing on some of the technology we put into LXBN, the publication features curated commentary from lawyers and law blogs all across the state. If you’re a Texas law blogger and you’re not in there, just let them know and you’ll be included.
  • HealthHITech Law is the fifth blog on the LexBlog Network from AmLaw 200 firm Vorys. In their own words, “HealtHITech Law was created to provide interesting and pertinent analysis of a variety of issues involving health information technology (HIT), specifically developments in HIT privacy and security including HIPAA/HITECH compliance and the interplay of state privacy laws, HER implementation and use challenges, review of new HIT tools and status of health information exchanges.”
