New blogs joining the LexBlog Network for the week of 2/27-3/2

March 2, 2012

The first week of March brings five new publications to the LexBlog Network—including our first first Arabic language blog. Also, we have two Canadian firms launching publications. Nice to have a bit of an international week. Also, hey, LXBN TV with Joe Bahgat discussing NL MVP Ryan Braun and his near-suspension.  Have a great weekend, everyone.

  • Al-Mirsal is the fourth publication on the LexBlog Network from AmLaw 200 firm Latham & Watkins. In both English and Arabic, this blog provides insight and commentary on legal developments in the Middle East.
  • Canadian law firm Norton Rose joins the LexBlog Network with the debut of their first blog, the Deal Law Wire. Providing insights and perspectives on developments in mergers and acquisitions, the blog is authored primarily by attorneys Troy Ungerman, Eric Stevens and Kevin Ackhurst.
  • The Palmetto Public Finance Forum is published by South Carolina law firm Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd; this is their first on the LexBlog Network. Authored by a large team of lawyers from the firm, the blog covers topics that include state and local governement, federal tax law and securities law.
  • Vorys Health Care Advisors is the fourth publication the LexBlog Network from the AmLaw 200 firm—Vorys, that is. In their own words, “VHCA helps stakeholders meet the challenges of a complex, rapidly changing state and federal health care environment.” The blog covers topics that include behavorial health, health care reform and Medicaid.
  • The British Columbia Employer Advisor offers McCarthy Tétrault‘s views on legislative, regulatory and common law rules and developments that affect employment relations, labour-related business practices and human resources policies in British Columbia. It comments on the impacts of unionization, corporate transactions, restructuring, new technologies and alternate work arrangements.
