New blogs on the LexBlog Network for the week of 11/14-11/18
November 18, 2011
Another week comes to a close and this one brings us six new publications on the LexBlog Network. We have five firms that continue to grow their network of publications—including one that has really become quite large—and another that’s just getting rolling. Have a great weekend, everyone.
- Adding to a publishing network that’s already as diverse as any law firm’s, the White Collar Defense blog is Sheppard Mullin‘s 28th publication on the LexBlog Network. Authored by number of attorneys in the firm’s White Collar Defense Team, the publication touches on topics that include bank fraud, corporate governance, money laundering, securities fraud and the False Claims Act.
- Cady Bar the Door, a blog offering insight and commentary on SEC enforcement actions and white collar crime, is the third publication on the LexBlog Network from Brooks Pierce. Bringing an insider’s perspective, the blog is authored by David Smyth, a SEC staff member for six years who ultimately served as an Assistant Director in the SEC’s Enforcement Division.
- The Higher Education IP Law Report is authored by Blaine Bettinger and David Woycechowsky, attorneys at Bond Schoeneck & King. This, the second blog from the firm, discusses subjects that include attribution, open source technology, IP liability, digitization and due diligence.
- DLA Piper continues to grow its array of publications as the launch of Health Care Enforcement and Compliance Matters makes it six blogs on the LexBlog Network from the AmLaw 200 firm. The blog is edited by Frank Sheeder and Rebecca Jones McKnight, who are members of the Health Care Enforcement and Compliance Practice at DLA Piper.
- The China-US Business Companion sets out to examine and comment on the multitude of issues faced by multinational companies and the challenges Chinese business must overcome when operating in the US. Authored by attorneys Elena Park and Meixian Li, it is the 11th publication on the LexBlog Network from Cozen O’Connor.
- And while all these firms add to their list of publications, we also have Scarinci & Hollenbeck launching their first blog on the LexBlog Network in the form of Tax, Trust & Estate News. The blog is authored primarily by Frank Brunetti, who brings a wealth of experience, having been practicing tax law in New Jersey and New York for 38 years and has been a tax professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University for 32 years.
