New blogs joining The LexBlog Network for 5/9-5/20
May 20, 2011
Because we missed this post last Friday, we’re taking a look back at all the publications joining The LexBlog Network over the past two weeks. Also, because it’s the nicest day of the year thus far in Seattle, we’re going to keep this introduction short and get right to the publications. Have a great weekend, everyone.
- Similar to the firm’s existing publication, The Venture Alley, DLA Piper‘s The Venture Corner will offer information for entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and other emerging growth company investors. However, instead of focusing on the Seattle tech community, this publication will instead hone in on developments in Atlanta, with Brian Gordon and Kiran Lingam taking the lead.
- The Employer Defense Law Blog is the tenth publication on The LexBlog Network from EpsteinBeckerGreen. Authored by a team of eight New York attorneys in the firm’s Labor and Employment practice, this blog examines employment law issues from the defense side as topics covered include the ADA, disability discrimination and the FLSA.
- The first of two Davis Wright Tremaine publications to debut this week, Cleantech Chatter claims to offer “the latest dirt on all things cleantech.” Seattle attorney Haeryung Shin serves as editor of this publication, which aims to find out if the Pacfici Northwest is really as ‘green’ as everyone makes it out to be.
- The latter of those two DWT publications to join the LexBlog Network this week, and the 11th total, is the California Energy Law Blog. Vidhya Prabhakaran and Mark Fumia serve as editors on this publication, which focuses on the constantly and rapidly evolving California energy industry while also keeping an eye on national developments.
- The Midwest Agricultural Law Guide is the first publication on The LexBlog Network from Omaha, Nebraska law firm Lamson, Dugan and Murray. Authored by Sean Minahan, who grew up on a farm in small-town Iowa and is familiar with the traditional agricultural culture, this blog will offer industry updates, information on federal and environmental regulations and their effects on farming, and tips on potential legal issues that can surface on farms and how they can be avoided.
- Joining the phenomenal privacy and data security community of publications on The LexBlog Network, we have the debut of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin‘s Data Breach Legal Watch. Drawing on a deep and broad array of data breach litigation experience, the authoring attorneys will offer practical and real-world perspectives on privacy and data security issues facing businesses.
- And, to wrap the week up, we have Intellectual Property News from the team at Mandour & Associates. In their own words, “you can expect the team at M&A to blog on matters impacting fellow intellectual property lawyers, in-house counsel, and any IP owner, while keeping you engaged and entertained along the way.”
