What’s really the benefit of producing an “App”? For so many companies and the lackluster products they produce, the “Hey, look who has an app!” stories seem to generate more buzz than the actual application itself. It remains to be seen if the Department of Labor’s wage and hour tracking app, which we mentioned yesterday, will prove to be useful but at this point it’s certainly getting a lot of coverage.
