New blogs joining The LexBlog Network for the weeks 1/17-1/28

January 28, 2011

Because we missed this last week, it’s time to break down all the publications that joined The LexBlog Network over the past two weeks. The total comes to an even ten. On top of seeing publications launched from law firms both new and old to the Network, we even added a whole new continent. Have a great weekend everyone.

  • Coming from one of the nation’s premier practice groups in this realm, we have The Wage & Hour Litigation Blog from Seyfarth Shaw. Drawing on their remarkable depth of experience in the field, across a number of industries, the blogging attorneys offer insight on recent court decisions, legislative updates and major Department of Labor activities.
  • It’s seems as though we’re announcing a new Fox Rothschild publication every time we do one of these roundups. Two weeks ago it was 27, and now we’re at 28 with the debut of the firm’s Construction Law Blog, authored by Samuel CortesJulie Goldstein and Seth Niederman.
  • A first on The LexBlog Network, we have a blog from a team of attorneys in South Africa. The Johannesburg Business Law Voice is published by attorney Pieter van der Merwe and Jason Dorning, his associate. Similar to their practice, the attorneys draw on the expertise one would expect to find to offer guidance on commercial and corporate law in a way that is much more approachable.
  • The Medical Malpractice Inquirer is authored by the unique team if attorneys at Sacks, Leichter Roskin. What makes them unique is the fact that the firm is one of the only in the United States that is comprised entirely of board certified physicians and doctors. Their blend of legal and medical expertise is a perpective you’ll likely find nowhere else in the legal blogosphere.
  • The collection of publications being put forth by DLA Piper is quietly but consistently continuing to grow as they add to it with the launch of RE:Marks on Copyright and Trademark. With Ann Ford serving as Editor-In-Chief and Debbie Rosenbaum as Blog Manager, the publication offers insight and guidance on establishing, maintaining and protecting a company’s portfolio of brands.
  • The California Public Agency Labor & Employment Blog is authored by the team of attorneys at Liebert Cassidy Whitmore. With insight coming from lawyers based throughout California, topics covered include privacy, prominent employment litigation, discrimination and retaliation.
  • New to The LexBlog Network, attorneys at Dean Mead update the Florida Trusts & Estates Blog. One of the largest and most respected groups of estate planning attorneys in Florida, the group writes on estate and trust litigation and administration, post mortem planning and estate planning.
  • Coming from another firm that’s continuing to grow its portfolio of blogs, we have Public Finance Matters by the attorneys at Mintz Levin. The third blog on The LexBlog Network from Mintz Levin, this publication offers insight and commentary on prominent public fancne developments.
  • The second blog on The LexBlog Network from Latham & Watkins comes in the form of the Global Privacy & Security Compliance Law Blog. Coming from one of the world’s premier business law firms, the blog’s editors include Jennifer Archie, Kevin Boyle, Gail Crawford and Ulrich Wuermeling.
  • This week also marks the launch of the California Injury Law Journal. On this blog, San Francisco attorney Aaron Farmer writes on the wide array of topics associated with car accidents. These include ensuing medical costs, lost wages and pain and suffering.
