Crafting a lede has always been one of my favorite parts of writing both articles and blog posts. The lede, by definition is the introduction to a story, usually the first paragraph, possibly the first few paragraphs. It’s an opportunity to tell a story, crack a joke, or generally just have fun and get the reader hooked. In my time doing these roundups, I don’t believe I’ve ever come across a lede as ridiculous and funny as the one today on Latham & Watkins Weekly Words of Wisdom Blog. Total posts on the LexBlog Network today: 154.
