New blogs joining LexBlog Network for week of 8/3-8/7
August 7, 2009
I‘m back in the Seattle office after the long drive from Missoula and looking forward to being back here here permanently at the end of the month. As usual, to close things down at the end of the week, I give you all the blogs that joined the LexBlog Network over the last five days. It was a big week with the final tally coming to seven, plus one redeveloped site. This may be a first: we have launches from three different AmLaw 200 firms in the same week.
- The Hunton Immigration and Nationality Law Blog is another well-done publication from AmLaw 200 firm Hunton & Williams. The blog provides up-to-date information on US immigration law relevant to both employers and employees.
- In today’s day and age, Sheppard Mullin‘s Climate Change and Clean Technology Law Blog could be very helpful to readers. The blog covers topics that include stimulus, public financing and wind and solar energy.
- The Houston DWI Law Blog is authored by Dane Johnson, Leslie Johnson, Alan Baer and Jordan Lewis of Johnson, Johnson & Baer. Together, they have over 45 years of combined DWI trial experience.
- Covering a topic we haven’t done before, the First Responder Liability blog provides commentary on legal issues facing emergency services. The blog is published by Louisville, Kentucky attorney Fred Simon, who—on top of being a volunteer firefighter—has extensive experience advising and representing both individual and corporate clients on liability issues in federal and state courts.
- And now coming from a location we haven’t done a blog on before, the West Australian Medical Negligence Law Blog provides readers with insight on medical negligence issues from the Perth area and throughout Australia. It is published by Julian Johnson, an attorney with 21 years of experience, during which time he has predominantly represented injured people in pursuing compensation claims.
- The New Jersey Estate Planning & Elder Law Blog is published by Deirdre R. Wheatley-Liss of the Law Firm of Fein, Such, Kahn & Shepard. Deirdre’s expertise allow her to assist clients with a variety of planning issues relating to identifying and meeting their personal, family and business goals, whether in a planning or crises situation.
- The China-US Trade Law blog, which has posts in both English and Chinese, provides analsysis on active trade disputes between China and the United States. The blog is updated by professionals at AmLaw 200 firm Baker & Hostetler.
Also worth noting: The China Law Insight blog has been redeveloped. The blog is authored by professionals at King & Wood, which has grown to become one of the largest law firms in China with over 800 fee earners and 16 offices.
