- Military tribunal convicts Salim Hamdan of providing material support to terrorism, acquits of conspiracy charge – The blogging constitutionalists at the American Constitution Society in their ACS Blog
- Taking environmental laws seriously: North Carolina v. EPA – Texas law professor Victor Flatt at the University of Houston Law Center Faculty Blog
- Franchise purchase requires personal honesty – Iowa attorney Rush Nigut of Brick Gentry at his blog, Rush on Business
- Car at 100 mph is a deadly weapon – Texas lawyer Jeff Rambin in his Tyler Appeals Blog
- Where have all the IP addresses gone? – Illinois attorney R. David Donoghue of DLA Piper in his Chicago IP Litigation Blog

Also worth noting: California attorney Bill Abbott, founding partner of the Sacramento firm Abbott & Kindermann LLP, has been judged by his peers in the legal industry as a “Northern California Super Lawyer” for 2008. This is Bill’s fifth year in a row to receive such a distinction.
