Live LexBlog blogs for the week of 6/2-6/6
By Rob La Gatta
June 6, 2008
This was the first week of June, and we started off the summer with four new blog launches. Some interesting subjects in today’s post: KIng & Wood is the first Chinese firm we’ve worked with, and The Media Institute’s blog – while not a legal blog in the traditional sense of the term – offers up interesting perspectives on the ever-changing media business.
The new projects debuted between June 2 and 6 were:
- the Chicago Nursing Home Lawyer Blog, from Illinois attorney Jonathan Rosenfeld of Strellis & Field. This senior neglect & abuse blog is a resource for anyone interested in the state of elder care today.
- the Greater Houston Criminal Defense Law Blog, a criminal defense/DWI blog providing information about criminal law in the Lone Star State. It is produced by the Law Office of Grant M. Scheiner, P.C.
- the Media & Communications Policy Blog, from the nonprofit freedom of speech advocacy group The Media Institute that reports on media developments regarding First Amendment issues.
- China Law Insight, a blog produced by the Chinese law firm King & Wood (a launch that marks LexBlog’s first professional steps into Asia). This business law blog covers a range of intellectual property and securities issues.
That’s it for this week…but don’t worry, there will be another batch next Friday.
