Talk of the LexBlogosphere: August 20, 2007
August 20, 2007
Today is August 20, and it’s still raining here in Seattle. But look on the bright side, Pacific Northwest: with the arrival of a new week comes a wealth of LexBlog clients updating their blogs. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: if you are one of our clients and would like to see your blog included in Talk of the LexBlogosphere, send me an e-mail when you’ve posted an update you’re proud of. If you get it to me on time – generally anytime before 11 a.m. Pacific on weekdays – I’d be happy to include it.
Here are some of the discussions taking place today:
- Is buying Wyeth a good move for the pharmaceutical company Pfizer? Not at all, says the Bio Job Blog’s Cliff Mintz in his criticism of this article by Wall Street Journal blogger Jacob Goldstein.
- Mike Inman at the Virginia Condominium & Homeowners’ Association Blog guides readers on how to deal with disruptive homeowners who make a scene at community association meetings.
- Striving to provide her readers with a comprehensive list of the different presidential candidates and their positions on health care-related issues, Jayne Juvan breaks down the 18 politicians competing for the White House in Juvan’s Health Law Update.
- Arnie Herz – who was profiled in our Five Questions feature last week – describes how to grow an organic business network in his blog, Legal Sanity.
- In the Louisiana Law Blog, published by the attorneys at Kean Miller LLP, an analysis of the National Labor Relations Act is presented by Michael C. Garrard.
