Talk of the LexBlogosphere: August 13, 2007
August 13, 2007
According to The Seattle Times, the Interstate 5 construction that many feared would have a negative impact on the Monday morning commute wasn’t as bad as expected.
In the LexBlogosphere, blog entries began to flow with the arrival of a new week. Below is a taste:
- Another guest blogger comes to the CAFA Law Blog. This time, the lawyers and attorneys from McGlinchey Stafford PLLC have recruited the University of Houston Law Center’s Lonny Hoffman to discuss the jurisdictional burden of proof.
- Susan Mangiero at the blog Pension Risk Matters comments on some of the worries currently facing investors.
- In the RICO Law Blog, attorney Thomas G. Walker of Cosho Humphrey LLP details the outcome of a recent Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals case regarding zoning laws in Summit County, Utah.
- Notices of Determination are a complex element of the project development approval process, but luckily Glen Hansen in the Abbott & Kindermann Land Use Law Blog explains a recent California case involving multiple NODs.
- Anthony Zaller of Van Vleck Turner & Zaller LLP introduces his firm’s second audio podcast in the California Labor & Employment Defense Blog.
And don’t forget, all clients are encouraged to keep sending me their firm’s blog posts for inclusion in Talk of the LexBlogosphere.
