Law blogs being quoted directly by mass media

Reporters aren't even calling blogging lawyers to obtain information or to get a quote. They're quoting lawyer blogs directly. Today's Oregonian quotes George's Employment Blawg, published by St. Louis lawyer George Lenard, on the issue of employers relying on information from MySpace and the like. Earlier in the week Marlerblog, published by foodborne illness lawyer Bill Marler was quoted by Newsweek on the Veggie Booty salmonella outbreak. As the percentage of reporters using blogs and RSS as a source increases from about 50%, expect more and more of this.
