Virtual Currency, Biotechnology IP, Real Estate: New Blogs Joining the LexBlog Network
December 13, 2013
I’ve said it in these posts so many times before, but we at LexBlog are proud of all the AmLaw 200 firms we have the opportunity to partner with—and it’s exciting when we announce our work with a new one. And that’s what we get to do this week, as Brown Rudnick joins our ranks. In addition, one of the AmLaw 200 firms already on our network, Perkins Coie, adds two more publications.
- The cleverly-titled Get Real! is the aforementioned debut of Brown Rudnick on the LexBlog Network. You might already suspect it, but yes, this is a blog on real estate law (specifically, commercial real estate), as the publication will cover almost all aspects of it: from investment to land-use and leasing, and a lot more.
- Though I mention in the introduction that I enjoy adding new AmLaw 200 firms to the LexBlog Network, adding a new subject—particularly an up-and-coming subject—almost tops it; that’s what we have with the launch of Perkins Coie‘s Virtual Currency Report. The blog will tackle all issues associated with the space, as attorneys share insight on the complex regulatory, enforcement, investment and consumer protection issues arising in the virtual currency ecosystem.
- In another highly-focused blog from Perkins Coie, we have 1600 PTAB. Now, an effort to explain that name: the blog will share analysis and explanations of decisions and opinions issued by the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (that’s the PTAP part). It will focus exclusively on decisions relating to the Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry industries—and those come from Technology Center 1600. Thus, PTAB 1600.
