EPL Risk Mitigation; Informance Governance; C-Suite; DOJ; Appellate: New blogs joining the LexBlog Network

September 2, 2016

And so ends a busy week at LexBlog—anyone else looking forward to the holiday weekend? Before you go charging off, though, be sure to check out the new blogs joining the LexBlog Network this week. We’ve got a lot of them, so let’s dive in:

  • Firstly we have the EPL Risk Mitigation blog from the esteemed team at Jackson Lewis. Committed to providing commentary, analysis and strategies for workplace law risk identification and risk management solutions related to employment law, this brings the firm’s total blog count to a whopping 19.
  • We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: People have problems when they deal with data. If that’s you (and in this modern world it’s basically everyone) check out the Information Bytes blog from the Information Governance Group dedicated to applying  information governance to real-world issues of data privacy, data security, data retention, defensible disposition, and litigation discovery.
  • From the team at Murtha Cullina we have the new Appellate Insights blog, which will be peeking into all things Connecticut Supreme Court related. For helpful insights on issues pending before the court or resulting verdicts, this is the blog to check.
  • Over at Davis Polk we’ve got a brand new blog launching: The DOJ Update. This will be the place to turn if you’re ever looking for information on the U.S. Department of Justice’s criminal enforcement and policy developments and other significant issues.
  • And last but not least we’ve got another blog from the Sedgwick team. Their new C-Suite Risk Report will presents and analyzes recent court rulings and other development in the areas of mortgages backed securities, Labor, litigation and regulatory investigations, fraud and Ponzi schemes, and government and regulatory intervention; and brings their total blog count to seven.
