Google+ launched in June 2011 and opened to general use in September 2011. Since then, Google+ has received a fair amount of buzz, though many lawyers still don’t understand what it does or why they might use it.

On Thursday, February 23 at noon ET / 9 a.m. PT, LexBlog CEO Kevin O’Keefe will host a free, hour-long webinar on Google+, "Why Google+ Matters for Lawyers," that will demystify Google’s social network and help you decide whether Google+ is worth your time.

"Why Google+ Matters for Lawyers" will cover:

  • What is Google+?
  • Why you might consider using it
  • Why Google+’s smaller userbase is to your advantage
  • Effects on social search
  • Advantages and criticisms

You can register at LexBlog’s events center — the password has already gone out in an email to clients, so email Helen Pitlick if you did not receive it.

For those of you who are unable to attend, this session will be recorded and posted here and on LexBlog’s support site within 24-48 hours after the session.
