New media internship : Come to Seattle and work with LexBlog

Seattle New Media Intern blogRob La Gatta, a paid intern from Seattle University, is working out so well, we're looking to add another intern or two at LexBlog.

If you'd like further exposure to blog publishing, RSS, new media, and entrepreneurism in action, this is an opportunity to learn a ton and have a lot of fun.

You'd help in all aspects of our business:

  • Client services - Assist in training and teaching professionals the art of better blogging.
  • Editorial management - Blog publishing and syndicating content to our own and third party publishing platforms.
  • Client development - Work first hand with me and our VP of Client Development in assisting on our client development processes (excellent entrepreneurial experience).

We're located in Pioneer Square, a great section of Seattle. Ideally, we'd like to locate a student who could start soon.

As way of background, LexBlog, now 4 years old, provides lawyers and other professionals with a turnkey blog solution. By empowering professionals to publish (we don't write content) and join online conversations in their niche areas of expertise our clients further enhance their reputation as trusted and reliable authorities. We're serving clients around this country and internationally.

I welcome talking with any interested students. Passion, drive, and a strong desire to learn and serve others will prove more important working with LexBlog than experience.

Trip to the Apple Store

Seattle Bainbridge FerryWhen you live on an Island, the trip to the Apple Store is more of an adventure (well at least a family outing). Here's the view from the ferry deck traveling into Seattle from Bainbridge Island yesterday afternoon after the Packers game.

Two repaired machines, a new iMac, and a dinner out, and we were back on the 9 o'clock boat.

We live in a beautiful place here in Seattle, whose waters, mountains, and cityscapes I have come to take for granted after 8 years. I'll try to share more shots from my iPhone in the coming year.
