Michigan State Law School Social Media Workshop This Weekend

Michigan State Law Social Media

Michigan State University College of Law is holding a free social media workshop for lawyers and law students this Saturday and Sunday. I’m honored to be the featured instructor.

Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, attending this event will elevate your use of social media – from a practical standpoint.

For law students you’ll learn to use social media for learning as well as to build relationships and a reputation for employment. For lawyers, you’ll learn to use social media to become a better a lawyer as well as for business development by building relationships and establishing yourself as a ‘go to’ lawyer.

On Saturday, we will focus on Twitter, blogging, LinkedIn, Facebook, ZeekBeek, and Avvo. On Sunday, show up to our hands-on workshop with an idea for a blog, and you will leave with a working blog.

This program is open to the public. Lawyers, law students, academics, judges, court staff, and all other legal-service delivery professionals are welcome to attend.

Michigan State Law School has been a national leader on the use of social media. There law students have built reputations and received jobs by virtue of their use of social media. I’ve been to the Law School before and look forward to returning.
