Manufacturing, Bankruptcy and Government Contracts: New Blogs Joining the LexBlog Network

After a full week of gorgeous sunshine, the weather here in Seattle pulls the ultimate troll job and switches over to rain just in time for the weekend. Alas, that weekend is still about here and it’s time begin closing up shop by taking a look at the new publications joining the LexBlog Network this week, and we have three from some of the top law firms in the country.

  • Batting leadoff, we have the eleventh blog on the LexBlog Network from Foley & Lardner as they roll out the Manufacturing Industry Advisor. Manufacturing is seeing a bit of a renaissance nowadays, especially in the United States, and this publication aims to keep readers apprised of next-generation manufacturing issues—and you can expect it to be about more than just the law.
  • We’ve seen a bit of an uptick in bankruptcy blogs on the LexBlog Network as of late, and Wiley Rein rides that wave as they roll out their latest blog, Wiley on Bankruptcy. Wiley prides itself on having one of the best bankruptcy practices in D.C. and they bring that expertise to bear in writing on subjects that include bankruptcy claims, relevant legislation and major court decisions.
  • After covering the world of class action defense exceptionally well, Mayer Brown has moved onto a new area as they debut their latest blog, Meaningful Discussions—covering cutting-edge issues in government contracts litigation and policy. Contributors to the blog are Mayer Brown lawyers who have handled a wide array of government contract actions and who speak and write frequently on public procurement issues.
