Australian Workplace Law, Drilling and Health Law: New Blogs Joining the LexBlog Network

January 24, 2014

As the week comes to a close on an absolutely beautiful cliche rainy day (nah, you don’t want to come here), we look back again at the publications joining our network, with three total. Two AmLaw 200 firms continue to add to their network of blogs, while we have a newcomer to the LexBlog Network in one of the hottest areas in the law right now.

  • Seyfarth Shaw‘s network of employment law publications has long been impressive, but now they add a layer with the first international blog: the Workplace Law & Strategy Blog, which is focused on employment law in Australia. Based on what I’ve seen for a long time from Seyfath publications, you can expect this to be a go-to resource on workplace issues in Australia, with commentary on the site already covering bullying, holidays and diversity.
  • I believe I’ve mentioned this before but, if I haven’t, it’s worth mentioning again: oil and gas law is one of the fasting growing communities on the LexBlog Network, and that adds one more with the launch of Drill Deeper from Louisiana and Texas law firm Gordon Arata. Their deep team of lawyers brings a breath of experience providing the “highest level of representation in every type of oil and gas issue in Louisiana or offshore Louisiana or Texas.”
  • Do we launch a BakerHostetler blog every month? Because it’s starting to feel like it lately. The AmLaw 200 firm’s network of blogs grows by one more, to 14, as they roll out the Health Law Update. The blog already has a deep, deep library of posts going back to May, so feel free to check the backlog or use the blog to keep apprised of the latest developments—whether they be on regulatory issues, health law litigation or the rolling out of the Affordable Care Act.
