- Completed and obtained a college degree and have relevant or transferable work experience.
- Intense desire to work in LexBlog’s Pioneer Square headquarters in downtown Seattle and partake of the many wonders that the Northwest has to offer. In other words, don’t move here just for a job…
- Solid computer skills and knowledge of CRM tools like Salesforce. Exposure to CRM tools is a definite plus.
- Passion for growing and achieving more, both personally and professionally. You will be creative and innovative enjoy solving problems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing PC leads and creating PC profiles (e.g. getting a sense for the strength of a PC’s online identity and brand by determining the PC’s application of a website, blog, Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter among other things).
- Interfacing with vetted PCs to schedule initial calls with LexBlog’s EVP/Managing Director. Having the ability to move a qualified lead to a scheduled call is key.
- Using LexBlog’s CRM to document and capture client development progress with each PC including lead research, contact, follow-up and/or next steps.
- Communicating with PCs on issues ranging from post-call follow-up to providing client cases studies, benchmarking/best-of-breed blogs, competitive blogs, or helpful blog posts, etc. Understanding how to educate the PC in helpful ways…
- Facilitating client development F2F meetings and conference calls with PCs and strategic partners for EVP/Managing Director and participating when necessary or desirable.
- Coordinating transfer of new clients from client development to Project Management and to Accounting. Overseeing special or custom projects and coordinating LexBlog team resources.
- Overseeing, updating, authoring and developing collateral materials and templates with help of LexBlog’s Editorial team that support presentations and ongoing outreach to PCs. Flare for tasteful, professional and effective marketing a plus.
- Performing market and competitive intelligence work to formulate strategy on client development matters.
- Working closely with and assisting EVP/Managing Director as directed and coordinating on behalf of EVP/Managing director with LexBlog’s CEO/Publisher with respect to client development initiatives.
- Willingness to learn and take on more responsibility for client development with EVP/Managing Director’s mentoring.
- This is NOT an executive assistant role. Your role and how you grow into this position is pivotal to LexBlog’s reaching our revenue goals. This is a frontline position. You will report to and work very closely with the EVP/Managing Director.
- Limited travel may be required from time-to-time.
