Real Lawyers Have Blogs : Law Blogs, Social Media, Twitter

We always preach about the power blogs have to establish lawyers as thought leaders in their practice area. There isn't an attorney in the country who is more of a "thought leader" for their niche than food safety attorney Bill Marler.

Monday evening, Bill Marler was a guest on Larry King Live with other food industry experts and family members of victims affected by E. coli. It was a bit surreal; Bill also lives on Bainbridge Island and that makes this the first time I've seen someone on the ferry and Larry King Live in the same month. Here's a clip from the show. The opening segment is the best as things start to get a bit off track when other panelists open up a meat vs no meat debate.

This isn't the first time we've had a member of the LexBlog Network appear on a national news show—Steve Jakubowski appeared on the CBS News with Katie Couric and ABC News interviewed Mike Myers on dead peasant insurance—but it is the first time we've had a client appear on David Letterman.
