YouTube, CNN & Politicians : Lawyers next?

Agree with John Palfrey that last night’s presidential debate on CNN using YouTube clips from the public was great. Heck, even got one of our 14 year old twin boy’s, Conner, watching with me.
The videos they chose were terrific: authentic(-seeming, anyway) voices from ordinary voters speaking directly to candidates.  The final video, about ‘the candidate to your left,’ was a brilliant parting shot.  The effect was at once to empower voters and to render more human the candidates.
How about lawyers next? Imagine real people with real legal issues who could no more afford a lawyer than the man in the moon asking real lawyers questions. No specific advice requested mind you. Just general legal information something we lawyers have put out of reach from the average American.

Lawyers out of touch and out of reach from average folks? Sounds like politicians. Maybe we ought to try the CNN/YouTube approach.
