Blog binder to keep yourself organized

I try to keep paper to a minimum (ignore the mess on my desk). But with many lawyers loving paper, thought I'd share Jullie Bonner's post at ProBloger on keeping yourself orgnized with a blog binder.

Julie's full post is a good read, here's a bulleted summary of the sections in her blog folder:

  • Article Ideas. Anything and everything that comes to mind for an article idea. Helps you through many days of writer’s block.
  • Must-Do List. Things that need to implement within the next few days.
  • Running-to Do List. List things you want to implement at some point, but that are not necessarily time sensitive.
  • Blogs to Visit. Instead of trying to remember keys one with her which, Julie writes them down and visits them each morning. This sounds a little crazy when the effective use of an RSS reader makes this a snap.
  • Print relevant articles and put them in 'topic sections' in your binder. Again with delicious, this sounds too tedious.

I don't envision starting a blog binder anytime soon. But for bloggers who are managing more than one blog, blogging for a living, and for some lawyers who like being ultra organized via paper, this may be a good fit.
