Scantily clad female law student brings down BC law shool blog

BC Law School BlogThe Boston College Law School blog was hit so hard with comments that its editors took down their post about BC law student Adrienne Reynolds posing for Barstool Sports, which specializes in sports talk and images of scantily clad women.

Per the Bostonist, my source for this post, Reynolds posed for cover of the ‘March Madness’ issue, wearing nothing but a BC pennant and white briefs. Apparently some of her fellow law students were not amused, especially with the Eagles making an earlt exit from the tournament.

A comment at abovethelaw.com points out the harm : ‘Way to set an example for all of our daughters who are trying to get somewhere in this world with their BRAIN.’ However, in her Barstool Sports interview, Reynolds said she wants to use her law-school education to be a stay-at-home mom, not a lunching pad to a successful legal career.

I just wanted to add, that as someone who has worked as a department head in the corporate world for the first five years of my career, and as a criminal prosecutor in Indian Country, the Bureau of Indian Affairs and for private attorneys for the next 10 years, I have worked with corporate leaders and attorneys, and have never understood why female sexuality has always threatened their male counterparts. I for one do not subscribe to the prehistoric notion that women have to somehow give up their femininity or repress their sexuality to be taken seriously. Kudos to Reynolds for breaking stereotypes. For those Neanderthals in Armanis who assume because she is beautiful, ergo she is dumb, I hope you all make that presumption when you face her in court.
